The Church of St John the Baptist in Carhampton, Somerset, England is a Grade I listed Anglican Church. The first church in the village stood to the east of the present church and was dedicated to St Carantoc a Welsh monk of the 6th century. The current church was built in the 11th or 12th-century and entirety restored between 1862 and 1870.

Visitors are also warmly welcomed to the Sunday Services, do stay behind after the service for Coffee/Tea & biscuits and a chat!

Coffee Mornings:
We hold regular Coffee Mornings on the First Saturday of every month when you can drop by for a coffee or a nice “cuppa” and home made cake or biscuits (sometimes a bacon roll or toasted teacake or fresh doughnuts). See what is on offer for sale, this varies according to the time of year: Home made cakes, jams and Chutney, Infused Oils, “pre-loved” clothing, books and bric-a-brac and in the Spring/Early Summer garden & Indoor plants and in the Autumn Fruit & Vegetables.
